You must claim your Ohio Lottery winnings within 180 days of the drawing date or the date of game closure if you played an instant game.

You can collect your winnings for Pick games on the day of the drawing while Powerball, Mega Millions, Classic Lotto, and Rolling Cash 5 prizes can be claimed the following day after the drawing, starting from 6:00 AM.

Claim these prizes by visiting any authorized Ohio Lottery retailer.

Prizes Between $600 and $5,000

Ask for a Pay to Bearer certificate from any authorized retailer, then complete a claim form in order to receive your winnings.

You can also claim these prizes by mail, and you need to include the original ticket (with your name and signature on its back), the claim form, and a copy of photo ID (this could be a driver’s license, which can verify your current address).
