Ohio Powerball
Since 2010, Ohioan participants can join one of the most popular inter-state American lotteries. Powerball offers some of the biggest jackpots worldwide and the grand prize even reached over $1 billion a few times.
The current record Powerball jackpot stands at $2.040 billion (approximately 15.1 billion kroner) - a prize that was won in November 2022. The winning ticket was sold in California.
Draws take place three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 10:59 PM, with ticket sales closing at 10:00 PM.

How to Play Powerball
Entering Powerball is easy and you only have to follow a few steps before getting a chance to win one of the nine prizes offered with every draw.
Select five main numbers between 1 and 69, plus a Powerball number from 1 to 26. You can also go for the “Quick Pick” feature if you want a random set of numbers or you can try out our online Number Randomizer.
The price of a ticket is $2 per play and each ticket has 10 play areas. You are also able to enter more than one draw with the multi-draw option. The Ohio Lottery allows you to enter up to 10 consecutive drawings. At the top of the ticket, you can find a "Play It Again" barcode which can be used to duplicate the line without having to use another ticket. Simply hand the ticket to the lottery clerk and ask for "Play It Again".
Power Play
For an extra $1, you can also add the Power Play option to your ticket. This feature allows you to multiply the amount of your non-jackpot prizes 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x. The 10x multiplier is only available when the top prize is worth less than $150 million.

Powerball has nine prize categories, with a top prize which can reach ten-figure amounts as there is no rollover limit. The lowest prize is $4 and it can be won if you match only the Powerball.
